Why I like Raspberries…!

Many of You Know that the Medieval Magic Gardens have been planted with edibles, beneficials, and medicinals, all so useful throughout the year.  Since the Raspberry Patch is in season and I pick each day, they are on my mind and in my heart. It’s a place I dearly love to be…

Health Benefits Include: preventing macular degeneration, immune system enhancement, stops undesirable cell damage to all membranes by neutralizing free radicals, offers cancer protecting and cancer destroying properties,  reduces overgrowth of certain bacteria/fungi in the body and is therefore useful for both vaginal infection and irritable bowel. Raspberry Leaves, Berries and Bark see to the overall health of the human body structure.

Beauty Benefits Include: natural sun protection, important support to aging skin, reduces age spots and wrinkles, provides optimal skin and health care protection. It follows that Raspberry Leaf is an important addition in Facial Toner as well as Lavender-Mint Facial Moisturizer.

Whether In or On,  Raspberry is tops!  Experimental by nature, with something as delightful as Raspberries, I push the envelope of pleasure as far as possible:  I’ll be cordialing Raspberry Leaves later this afternoon, in the French Chateau Tradition, using Leaves rather than Fruit for a less cloying product.

Raspberry Leaves are featured in the season’s first herb salads, picked young and tender…why not in a stir-fry when the Growth is young and tender?

Raspberry Vinegar, that is an infusion of Fresh Raspberries Infusion in your favorite vinegar is indispensable!..You might like like rice wine or champagne wine vinegar …Served hot with sugar to taste, sipped slowly throughout the morning,  is perfect for preventing a sore throat from advancing to a strep throat. In fact, that sore throat won’t survive till lunchtime in such a protective, acidic environment!   Diluted Raspberry Vinegar in summer,  over ice, known as Raspberry Shrub, is what the people of 17th&  18th century enjoyed as a refreshing beverage…very pretty in a glass with a sprig of mint, and so beneficial…!  Place 1/4 pint of fresh berries in a glass container and add 1 pint of vinegarnow and have it ready for use in 3 weeks. Do it soon…

Raspberry Jam, home made, is the epitome of  ‘Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!’   Ancient Persians gave us the idea of cooking  fruits into syrups or jams, using sugar as the preservative, as the vehicle for both health protection and recovery.

And What About  Pies, Jam Filled and Thumb-Print Cookies,  English Tea Squares, Smoothies with yogurt, cocoa powder, clove and cinnamon,  Mousse and Muffins,  Compotes and Cobblers?  Is this too much pleasure??  Have we crossed the line??  Only you can decide the limits…!

Raspberries freeze so easily:  spoon them gently into the glass jar or zip-lock baggie and freeze for the long winter ahead.  Nothing could be easier…

Mood Enhancing Effects of Raspberries:  Raspberries,  sampled warm in the patch have the most notorious mood enhancing properties, did you know…?   I think you’d really enJOY them this way!  I encourage you to make use of Raspberry both in and on your body!  Protect your Beauty!  Protect your Health With Medieval Magic Organics and Raspberries Today!!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!…www.medievalmagicorganics.com…!
